Popular Front for Armed Resistance : ウィキペディア英語版 | Popular Front for Armed Resistance
Popular Front for Armed Resistance, or PFAR, was founded in the 1960s by Ishaque Mohammad Shah and Sher Mohammad Marri and was active until 1993 in Pakistan. It was run by Baluchi tribal separatist groups, which carried out serial bomb attacks and fought an armed insurgency against the Pakistan's military. In 1974 at Zulfikar Ali Bhutto's peace proposal, the group announced an end to the insurgency, which had by that time claimed the lives of 5,300 Baluchi fighters and 3,300 army personal. As a result of Bhutto breaking his promise and restarting the operation in Balochistan, some 20,000 Baluchi tribesmen pick up arms against the Pakistani Army again. ==See also==
